Micropigmentation is the paramedical makeup technique Lori uses to create naturally appearing areolas and eyebrows. Micropigmentation is the placement of colorants placed into the dermal layer of the skin for the purpose of cosmetic enhancement, medical correction, and/or aesthetic restoration. Micropigmentaiton differs from “classic” tattooing by its purpose and tendency for color to fade over time.

Areola Tattooing is a special paramedical solution for women who have undergone mastectomies or other breast surgeries. Permanent areola repigmentation and nipple restoration techniques utilize cosmetically tattooed micropigmentation as a way to restore a natural look after breast reconstruction surgery by creasting the illusion of a lifelike areola and nipples. For women who have undergone mastectomies, this complex micropigmentation and 3-D nipple restoration is nothing short of a medical miracle!

Areola Tattooing procedures may be covered by health insurance. To find out more about coverage rights, please refer to the Federal Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998.

Lori uses micropigmentation to fill in or create natural looking eyebrows. This is a special technique in which she uses very fine “hair like” strokes to enhance, define, and shape the appearance of real eyebrows that are customized to enhance your image. This procedure is perfect for your active lifestyle, you can wake with makeup already on, swim, run and sweat with no worries! This paramedical makeup will not smear in any of your daily activities.

Eyebrow micropigmentation procedures are ideal for anyone going through hair loss due to aging, alopicia, or other medical reasons. The products used in this procedure are hypoallergenic and gently on your skin.
